Hello! Out there! What can I tell you about me and my art. Hmmmm?

Well it all started one spring morning when I went to an art tour in the country. On my own for the first time after raising a family of four children and recently separated from my husband of many years, I was casting about for things to do. I coaxed a friend, recently widowed, to go with me. It would be a marathon to take our minds off the things we'd rather not think about. Yes, it was a marathon.

I had learned many skills along the way and I could find my way anywhere. However since early childhood drawing and painting were something that was impossible for me. How I knew this I don't remember, but I just new it for sure. At the last house number thirty-five my friend and I exhausted met a young woman that painted the most beautiful watercolours I ever saw.

To my astonishment from my mouth came the words, ""Do you give lessons?". She said "Yes, in September". "No, No! I want to start right now I'm moving in soon and can't wait" was my reply. That was me speaking alright but exactly what came out over me is a mystery even to this day. Going through impossible was so satisfying for me that I am recommending it to all of you out there in space that are kind enough to read this. For any of you who are curious find a safe place and just do it.

I hope you like my paintings and if you think they would fit into your life that would please me very much.
