Lee uses clean, bright colours, sweeping washes and inventive techniques to create her watercolour images. Her paintings include landscapes, botanicals, florals, birds, abstracts. Her settings are imaginative with a mysterious quality and what is often described as an Oriental touch. She says, “I love being able to use strong, eye-catching colours, sweeping washes and images with a mysterious quality. When I paint, I try to tell a little bit of a story. My goal is to give you a painting that will shine light into your room.”

Her work is included in collections in Europe, Australia, South Africa, the United States and Canada. She is mainly self-taught and loves to experiment with ideas and techniques.
