My subject for painting is space. Once an avid amateur astronomer, and a landscape artist hobbyist, I joined the two and while my first paintings were oil, I tried acrylics in 2007 and loved them ever since. Space paintings give me the opportunity of melding science with philosophy and spirit; my series "Other Worlds, Other Realms, Towards the Blue Pearl" developed from this idea with emphasis on eastern religions.
